Life Sucks is a scrapped episode of Adult Party Cartoon conceived around the time when John Kricfalusi was fired from Nickelodeon in 1992. It was going to be in the old series, but was pushed to Adult Party Cartoon a decade later. At least a third of it was recorded and storyboarded, but didn't succeed to finish production on time.
Summary[]
The episode begins with Stimpy happily watering his garden, when Ren comes and tells him that life sucks. Stimpy disagrees with him, so Ren tells him the story of The Children's Crusade, in which thousands of children went marching to the Holy Lands in order to reclaim it, but ended up dead from the elements, or were sold into slavery once they arrived. Despite the story, Stimpy still remains optimistic.

- Many Spümcø employees considered it the best Ren & Stimpy episode ever written.
- The episode was to be revived for Ren & Stimpy's Adult Party Cartoon, but, after that show's cancellation, chances of "Life Sucks" getting completed are very slim as it was never finished on time (along with allegations of sexual misconduct against John K. in recent years) so the episode was scrapped.
- This was originally going to be a TV movie, but it was later changed to a 22 or 24 minute episode for an unknown reason.
- According to John K., this was meant to be a prequel episode to "Ren Seeks Help". In said episode, Ren and Stimpy had a fight because of something Ren did to Stimpy. Ren decided to seek help because of what he did to Stimpy made him feel remorse. This suggests that the episode was the cause of Ren and Stimpy's argument, as it's never stated in "Ren Seeks Help" what Ren did to make Stimpy so upset.
